One-Time Password の更新

login するごとにシーケンス番号は 1 ずつ減っていきますから、 いつかは One-Time Password のシーケンスを更新する必要があります。

シーケンスの更新は、ネットワーク経由で安全に行えます。 ただし、手元計算機に One-Time Password 計算プログラムがないと困ります。

1. rigs 上で opiepasswd コマンドを起動します。

   rigs% opiepasswd
   Adding foo:
   Reminder: You need the response from your OPIE calculator.
   New secret pass phrase:
           otp-md5 499 st3131
           Response:
   

2. 手元計算機でレスポンス文字列を計算します。

   local% otp-md5 499 st3131
   Using the MD5 algorithm to compute response.
   Reminder: Don't use opiekey from telnet or dial-in sessions.
   Enter secret pass phrase: 
   SLIT MOP BAY GOER SEAL PI
   local%
   

3. レスポンス文字列を入力します。

   New secret pass phrase:
           otp-md5 499 st3131
           Response: SLIT MOP BAY GOER SEAL PI
   
   ID root OTP key is 499 st3131
   SLIT MOP BAY GOER SEAL PI
   rigs%
   

   これで終りです。かんたんですね。
